The sea starts here!

Many people wouldn't realise the sea actually starts inland. Our freshwater, via rivers and through land drains, all end up in the sea which means everything that goes down our drains is getting a direct path to the sea too. In the last coupe of years 2 of the Islands fresh water streams, Groudle and Summerhill Glen have both had pollution incidents from land drains that have caused mass fish death. These chemicals haven't ended there though as they have been washed into the sea with no way to measure the damage.
