The Wildlife Trusts With 765,000 members, it is the largest UK voluntary organization dedicated to conserving the full range of the UK’s habitats and species. 135,000 of its members belong to the junior branch, Wildlife Watch. Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch Working in collaboration with the Manx Wildlife Trust and the Sea Watch Foundation in the UK, MW+DW provides a permanent record of cetacean sightings around the Isle of Man. Manx Basking Shark Watch The Island is very lucky to be a ‘hotspot’ for basking sharks, with large numbers of these magnificent creatures spotted from our coastline every year. In collaboration with the Manx Wildlife Trust and the Marine Conservation Society, the Manx Basking Shark Watch website has been set up specifically to detail, record and celebrate all things Manx Basking Shark.
